The Horten Municipality is located 100 kilometers southwest of Oslo and has direct access to the Oslo fjord with its 31-kilometer-long coastline.

The demography is quite average but are heavily affected by commuters. The two new train stations will not be located near the city center. The only collective transport, except for busses, with proximity to the city center is the ferry to Moss, which is quite area intensive.

Based on its proximity to the city center and direct water access, this is an area with lots of unrealized potential. My project proposes on alternative development with the aim to make Horten more sustainable and attractive for residents and commercial activities.
